Bimini Shark Lab
Founded in 1990, the Bimini Biological Field Station — better known as the Bimini Shark Lab — is one of the world's most respected shark research and marine education institutions. For more than three decades, its scientists and students have conducted groundbreaking research into shark biology, behavior, migration, and ecology, tagging more than 9,000 sharks along the way.
The education efforts have supported more than 25 PhD students, 40 MSc students, and 1,000 interns. The field station supports field courses for more than 200 students and educators annually.
We are incredibly proud to support their work. For every bottle of Mako & Vine sold, $1 is donated directly to Bimini Shark Lab, helping fund the research, education, and conservation efforts protecting the species that inspired our brand.
